What platform are you using for online yoga classes?
We use Zoom.us to teach our classes online. It is a free app. You will be emailed the Zoom link to grant access to the class upon registering as well as the day before. Classes are live and interactive. You can use a laptop (preferred), tablet or phone. Set it up where you can see me and I can see you. If you have an HDMI cable, you can connect your device to a TV screen for a larger picture.
What time should I arrive?
It is always a good idea to arrive 5 to 10 minutes ahead of time to ensure there are not any internet glitches. Same applies to in person classes. Door will be locked at the beginning of the class. Class will open 15 minutes ahead of time.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in easily. As online yoga is in the comfort of your own home, feel free to be in your p.j’s!
What if I need to take a call in class?
All cells phones are requested to be turned off for the duration of the class. However, if you are attending an online class, all students are muted so the call will not disrupt the class.
What props will I need?
You will need; a yoga mat, a strap (or a belt, sash, scarf), 2 blocks and a bolster (2 bed pillows work great). Weights of 1 or 2 lb are optional.
How big are the classes?

What style of yoga do you teach?
The style of yoga is Mindful Flow yoga. Classes include stretching, balance and strength using weights. Weights are optional. Variations are always given to accommodate every level of yoga experience and health issues. Restorative yoga is offered the first Tuesday of the month and YIN yoga is offered the 3rd Thursday of each month.

Lean muscle mass helps you function in your everyday life. Using weights will increase your strength, bone density, boost metabolism and protect your joints.
