What platform are you using for online yoga classes?
We use Zoom.us to teach our classes online. It is a free app. You will be emailed the Zoom link to grant access to the class upon registering and the day before. Classes are live and interactive. You can use a laptop (preferred), tablet or phone. Set it up where you can see me and I can see you. If you have an HDMI cable, you can connect your device to a TV screen for a larger picture.
What time should I arrive?
It is always a good idea to arrive 5 to 10 minutes ahead of time to ensure there are not any internet glitches. Same applies to in person classes. Door will be locked at the beginning of the class. Class will open 15 minutes ahead of time. You are invited for a mini social with other students and myself prior to class starting.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in easily. As online yoga is in the comfort of your own home, feel free to be in your p.j’s!
What if I need to take a call in class?
All cells phones are requested to be turned off for the duration of the class. However, if you are attending an online class, all students are muted so the call will not disrupt the class.
What props will I need?
You will need; a yoga mat, a strap (or a belt, sash, scarf), 2 blocks and a bolster (2 bed pillows work great).
How big are the classes?
The max number of students per online class is unlimited and in person is 6.
What style of yoga do you teach?
